Parviz has 32 years of professional engineering experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree   in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
He is a licensed professional engineer in California, a licensed professional structural engineer in Texas,
and a licensed professional engineer in Alabama.

Parviz is responsible for all structural engineering design and analyses.  He currently provides structural engineering plan review services for numerous in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has designed high-rise steel, concrete, and composite buildings. He has designed offshore production platforms and numerous industrial, aerospace, and military structures. He shares a provisional patent for a 
seismic retrofit system with  Charles.
