This stunning
complex in a lake-side setting was beginning
to show its age. Walls
and windows
leaked during wind & rain storms.
Site drainage flooded under walls in a
variety of locations. Balcony
supports, exterior stair towers,
inset decks, and privacy screens were leaking & rotted. We designed a complete
replacement of the
waterproofing, stucco, & windows; we redesigned the site
drainage at the
worst locations; we designed repairs for all of the decayed wood
structures; we
tested windows before & after installation for compliance with
manufacturer’s specifications; we monitored construction for
compliance with
plans & specifications; and we prepare as-built plans.
