Mr.
Rupani was driving his car in Fremont when stopped by the police and arrested
for DUI. The stated probable cause for the stop by the office was an
obstructed windshield. We reconstructed the incident with vehicles,
photographed it, and videotaped it to show that the arresting office could not
see and did not see any obstruction. We also demonstrated that the
claimed obstruction was less of an obstruction than a GPS device or a rear-view
mirror; additionally, the claimed obstruction was not in the normal field of
view of the driver this was obvious from the arresting officer’s perspective.
